09That’s Amore (When the World Seems to Shine)

A craftsman shuts his shop and signs on as a rider. His friend, a fisherman, cannot get to the boat because of his hours at a courier firm, and nearly misses saying goodbye to a woman closing her front door in the old town for the last time. She has sold the house to a company that will turn it into a B&B. The city loses its tangle and becomes a backdrop for selfies. The people who lived there are left as extras.

A proposal for Porto, with Nico Angiuli, for the S+T+ARTS GRIN Porto Residency 1, “Back to the future”. A polyphonic map of the city made with the people logistics leaves out: fishermen, textile workers, riders, collectors of iron, paper and cans. An open archive of voices and soundscapes. A mixed-reality guide, walked and performed at the Coliseu do Porto. The title borrows from the Dean Martin song that UPS turned into “That’s Logistics”. On hold.
